Computer Aided Pattern Design
by Don McCunn Selecting Lines & Points
After lines are drawn they may need to be changed. This is done by selecting them. Multiple lines can be selected and deselected using the icon buttons above or their associated menu and keystroke options. The blue Pointer in the top left side of the workspace can be used to select lines in several ways.
Caveat: the icon options above do not appear when you are working with a split screen. The Studio screen needs to be stretched wider to see them. ContentsSelecting LinesThis first video demonstrates selecting lines to convert the PGM Front Upper Torso Fitting Shell to a Master Pattern. This is done by removing the seam allowances and any other unnecessary lines. |
