Desktop Printing

Desktop printing can be used to create a record of designs and also used when print-and-cut equipment is not available. It makes it possible to scale up and create full-size patterns that are too large to be processed with print-and-cut equipment.

When working with a desktop printer, you need to follow steps that are not required when working with print-and-cut equipment.

  1. Print the patterns.
  2. Tape together the individual sheets of a large pattern.
  3. Cut out the paper patterns.
  4. Use the paper patterns to cut the fabric.
