Page Setup sets up the space where patterns can be developed and changed to different sizes. The program initially sets this area to the size of the Cutting Mat of the Equipment being used. For these instructions the Cutting Mat is for the Portrait 3 which is 8" x 12" (20.3 x 30.5 cm). This keeps the patterns available for either the print-and-cut equipment or a standard desktop printer. The Page Setup Panel also allows the Cutting Mat to be adjusted to either the portrait or landscape orientation.

As patterns are being developed it can be helpful to increase the size of the Cutting Mat to work on multiple patterns, change the layout of the patterns, etc. When the size of the Cutting Mat is changed it will be the Default value until the size is changed back. One of the options is to restore the Cutting Mat to the default size of the print-and-cut equipmment being used.
